Peoria Area Speech-Language Hearing Association
The Peoria Area Speech-Language Hearing Association (PASHA) is a diverse organization of speech-language pathologists and audiologists who work in public and private schools, area hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes, and private practices. Continuing education opportunities offered by PASHA enable these professionals to meet the needs of their clients with the most current treatments available.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Meeting your Networking & Continuing Education needs
Annually, PASHA offers its members at least 4 professional development opportunities, totaling at least 8 continuing education units (CEUs). CEUs are provided through the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation. EI credit is also sometimes offered, depending on the program topic.
Professional development programs are 2 hours and are presented by local professionals, covering a wide range of topics related to the fields of Speech Pathology and Audiology. Professional development programs are offered for both medical-based and school-based professions.
These programs are held on week nights, anytime September through May. In order to ensure the health and safety of our members, all programs at this time will be hosted via the Zoom platform. You will need to contact Danila McAsey at Danilaslrs3@gmail.com to confirm your attendance at each meeting. She will then send out the necessary Zoom link.
Professional development program CEUs are included in the yearly Membership fee of $28. Non-members may receive CEUs for $15 PER program.
